Characteristics and Intensity Survey of the Lin'an M 4.2 Earthquake of Zhejiang Province

摘要: 2017年4月12日,浙江省杭州市临安市发生4.2级地震,地震震中附近的潜川镇、河桥镇震感强烈,於潜镇、太阳镇、湍口镇等震感较为明显。在对震区地质构造、震源机制解资料分析的基础上,开展了烈度调查,并绘制了地震烈度图。本次地震震中烈度为Ⅴ度,面积22.6km2,烈度圈长轴方向北东向,与马金-乌镇断层走向一致。Abstract: On April 12, 2017, M 4.2 earthquake occurred in Lin'an, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Near the epicenter area, people in Qianchuan town and Heqiao town felt quake strongly, and the tremor was also felt in Yuqian town, Taiyang town and Chuaikou town. On the basis of the analysis of the geological structure and the source mechanism of the earthquake, we conducted the survey and mapped the seismic intensity. The earthquake epicenter intensity of Ⅴ degrees, covers an area of 22.6km2 with the long axis in north-east direction, and is consistent with the strike of Majin-Wuzhen fault.
